INSIDE... ABBESSES

We also wanted to take the opportunity afforded by this section to shine a light on our stores and our team members. This whistle-stop tour starts today, headed for the Abbesses store.

The store is located at 46, rue des Abbesses in Paris’s historic Montmartre district. This was the second store that we ever opened, and we were convinced to locate it there due to the soul of the surrounding neighborhood, with the resulting Bohemian ambiance. In the store, we find Elodie and Carole who run the store with smiles on their faces and lots of good humor. They inform us that they’ve built up a real relationship with their customers over the years, and that they even consider some of them to be close friends. As such, Elodie and Carole are perfectly placed to advise each and every one of their customers – and to share their stories over a glass of Champagne each Saturday. In short, the Abbesses store has become a firm fixture of the neighborhood’s rich tapestry – so why not join us on our journey?

There is also an abundance of greenery: plants that were chosen with lots of love and attention, as well as all kinds of foraged objects and straw animals that contribute to the store’s cozy yet atmosphere.
